Thats a question that I'm asking myself these days.
Ever since the success of my mixed media collage "A Secret Ordeal" I often ask myself "Was it worth it?"
When I was working on the art project, I had three psychiatric hospitalizations, nightmares, and a few nervous breakdowns. But ever since I released it at
9-Muses Art Center, "A Secret Ordeal" has hit many people close to home, and it was written up in The New Times of Broward County and Palm Beach County of Florida.
I recall a day after the opening of "The C word" show at 9-Muses Art Center, I had a mixture of a temper tantrum and a nervous breakdown at Rebel's Drop-in Center which resulted in the last psychiatric hospitalization due to this piece of art.
Two weeks later, on April' 21, 2010 I found out that an art critic wrote a favorable review on "A Secret Ordeal" in The Broward New Times which I now ask was that outburst worth it
